
Veterinarian
Dr. Doug Marquardt grew up in Boerne, Texas. He graduated from Boerne High School in 1981. He received a Bachelors degree in Biomedical science from Texas A&M University in 1985. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.
After graduation he moved to El Campo and has practiced there for the past 27 years. Dr. Marquardt met his wife DeAnne while in college at TAMU and they married in 1992. She is a teacher at St. Philips Catholic School in El Campo.
They have two children, Cody and Kaitlyn, who are both currently at TAMU. Cody is finishing a degree in Ocean Engineering and plans to enter the Masters program. Kaitlyn is in her first year in Allied Health.
Dr. Marquardt’s interests include golf, fishing, and Aggie sports. Dr. Marquardt has been in mixed animal practice for his entire career and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine.
